Kristin Belew: "Kaiʻea's Kagami" Threadfin Jack

Medium:  Original gyotaku on rice paper. Acrylics, Watercolor, Prismacolor
Size:~35" x 45"  (unframed- paper can be trimmed down)

This original gyotaku of a Kagami or Threadfin Jack was done after young Kaiʻea landed this beast.  He was only 7 at the time and the fish was almost as large as he was.
